Spain/ Gibraltar Border

This is what we in Gibraltar are faced with on an ongoing basis. Its a common situation but when the ruling Spanish PP government feel that they need to distract the attention of their population due to the various economic and internal crisis they pick on Gibraltarians as well as their own Spanish nationals (estimated at around 8000)working in Gibraltar. It also affects holiday makers and women, children & the elderly stuck in these queues for anything up to seven hours. Sometimes in the extreme heat of our summer! Imagine….

UPDATE- The Government of Gibraltar have now installed two Live Web Cams at the border so that everyone can monitor the border queues especially the EU who stated that there is no evidence to show that the Spanish are imposing unnecessary hardships at the Border! A German MEP probes the EU on Border Contrals by Spain.

Yes! The EU, the same one that have been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize say that there is no evidence that Spain is acting illegally at a European Border. The real culprits of this bulling against Gibraltar is the EU, for allowing Spain to act undemocratically within the European Union.
